General Information
In accordance with the United States Flag Code, “The Flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way”.
Brandywine Flags understands the tradition of the U.S. Flag and the respect it deserves. We encourage anyone with a worn or tattered flag to dispose of it properly. In cooperation with our local V.F.W. post, Brandywine Flags arranges for retired U.S. Flags to be properly burned once a year during a Flag Day ceremony. Help us show respect by bringing your worn flag to us for proper disposal.
To dispose of your worn U.S. Flag, please bring it to our retail location or send it to us via a mail carrier.
